Eid-ul-Fitr will be observed on Friday, 21 April, in Saudi Arabia following the sighting of the crescent moon in the country on Thursday evening.

Saudi’s news media Al Arabia has confirmed the news.

The moon was sighted Saudi Arabia at the Tamir observatory, said the report.

Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest religious festival of Muslims, is observed on the first day of the month of Shawwal after one month of fasting in Ramadan.

National Moon Sighting Committee in Bangladesh would meet on Friday evening.
